take 100 ml. of hot water at 60 degrees centigrade.First take little
water and make it into a paste and then add the remaining water and
mix it well. Later, add about 10 gms. of H.P. salt and mix it well. Then
add 10 gms. of Hydrose and mix well. Then take about one and a half
lits. of hot water at 60 degrees centigrade and mix it well with the
above dye solution. Then soak the thread or cloth in cold water and
squeeze the cloth or thread nicely and dip it in a dye bath and allow
it to soak for about 10 to 15 minutes. Later, remove the cloth or thread
from the bath and dry it in air for 5 minutes. After that rinse the
cloth or thread in cold water and allow it to dry.
Note : For both Natural and Synthetic Indigo the process is the
same.
For Dhabu Printing cold water should be taken for dye bath. For mixing
the colour water should be hot for both synthetic and natural.
